UK Home Office announces new targets for visa processing times

Work Permits UK has announced its targets for how long it should take to process various types of visas. The new standards are as follows:

Work Permits and Sector Based Scheme (SBS)
WP (UK) aims for 70% of applications to be decided within one week of receipt, and 90% within 3 weeks.

Limited Leave to Remain
70% of applications to be decided within four weeks of receipt, and 90% in 9 weeks.

Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP)
50% of applications to be decided within five weeks of receipt and 90% in 14 weeks.

Worker Registration Scheme (WRS)
70% of applications to be decided within two weeks of receipt and 90% in 4 weeks.
